A+ APTC's Vision

Our vision is to advance education by implementing sustainable programs that benefit teachers and students, and to prepare young people for further education or the world of work.

 

We endeavor to support students and teacher by:
Creating programs to assist in building self-confidence in students to help keep students in school.


Supporting teachers through mentoring and a community support forum.

The general objectives of the foundation ​are

To provide programs geared towards building academic competences, self-confidence, support educators and assisting legislators in the education system.
 

To support parents and families who are in need of help in providing supervision for their child. To develop entrepreneurial talents and skills that is on the island.
 

To do and promote everything in connection with the above in the broadest sense of the word. Poverty eradication by teaching work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy to the youths.

What We Are About

At its minimum our objective is that any youth that has passed through our organization would have at least, substantively increased their level either academically, behaviorally and socially.

A+ APTC is an organization founded in 2017 and serving the youth of St. Eustatius ever since. The out-of-school program has been in operation since 2019. 

 

A+ APTC, starting off as an afterschool program, is designed to be a life changer for vulnerable youths. Its general aim is to improve educational outcomes and build positive life skills.

 

Our organization wants to give structure, support, and supervision that can truly help the next generation. 

Financial controls are in place to assure donors that their money is well spent. We are supported by the Ministry of Health Welfare & Sports (VWS), and the Ministry of Education Culture and Science (OCW) through the Public Entity of St. Eustatius. 

 

We have also received support over the years from Samenwerkende Fondsen Cariben, Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment (SZW) Numerous support has also been received from the private sector and general community of St. Eustatius.

 

We collaborated with many organization including but not limited to; Mega D Youth Foundation, Daughters of the King Foundation, St Eustatius Sports Facility Foundation, St. Eustatius Swimming Association, and local businesses that help to facilitate work programs and other activities for our youths.
